E2E COMMUNICATION AWARDS FAQs
Q: Is the awards competition open to Canadian companies?
A: The E2E Communication Awards competition is open to companies worldwide. So, yes, Canadian companies are encouraged to enter.
Q: What is the best way to submit my entry?
A: Please use our online entry form to send us a 500-1000-word entry essay, along with the order form and any samples that you’d like our judges to review.
Q: What if I find I can't adequately express the excellence of my program/campaign/vehicle in 1,000 words or fewer?
A: Unfortunately, because of the rigors of our judging progress and the purposes of our program, entries whose essays are longer than 1,000 words will be disqualified.
Q: Why are you requiring that entries be submitted as essays?
A: Our entrants are communicators, who express themselves well in writing. We hope the E2E Communication Awards do more than grant recognition to deserving employee communication practitioners. We hope the winning essays become shining case studies that show other communicators how to do powerful communication, and demonstrate to organizational leaders how powerful employee communication can be.
Q: What's the best way to organize my essay?
A: That's entirely up to you; but it can simply be organized as an answer to the question, "Why is your program/campaign/vehicle such a success." Your essay should cover at the very least: the origin of the entry, the reason it was created and the problem it was intended to solve; a description of the program/campaign/vehicle with or without samples; and an explanation of how the communication helped or helps achieve its goals.
Q: Do I need to show that my entry produced quantifiable results?
A: E2E judges recognize that not all communication can be quantified, and that some communication isn’t even subject to credible qualitative measurement. That said, you’ll strengthen your essay by bringing to bear any relevant research that suggests your work made a demonstrable difference in the organization.
Q: May I send samples of my work?
A: Yes, along with your essay, submit relevant samples of your work in the most universally accessible electronic format.
Q: Can I enter a communication vehicle that was produced before April 1, 2009, but distributed afterwards?
A: Yes, and vice versa. Also, a communication campaign or program needs only to have been ongoing for a part of the year between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010.
Q: What if I have additional questions?
A: For more information call us at 888-303-2373 or e-mail us at info@e2eawards.com.
