ENTRY RULES
Who should enter
The E2E Communication Awards identify excellence in employee communication efforts from the strategic to the tactical. If your internal communications are meeting their goals, you should enter—whether you're an employee communication specialist or a communication generalist, a writer or a communication executive.
Entry prep
For each entry, electronically submit or mail one copy of the entry form along with an essay of 500–1000 words demonstrating that your communication vehicle, program, or campaign achieved its intended results. (Attach or send sample materials if applicable.)
Eligibility
The awards program is open to all companies, organizations, and institutions involved in producing internal communications—but not those created by McMurry, Inc. To be eligible for a E2E Communication Award, an entry must have been produced between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010.
Award nominator
The person submitting the entry will be our permanent contact throughout the course of the awards program, and will receive all correspondence, including receipt of entry and winning entry acknowledgement.
Choosing categories
Over 50 categories are considered in the E2E Communication Awards. Entrants may nominate their publication in one or multiple categories. There is a fee for each category entered. Judges reserve the right to change your entry to fit the appropriate category.
Judging procedure
Judges are expert practitioners in the categories they're judging. They're instructed to evaluate each entry on how thoroughly it has met the communication objectives of its creator. One winner, along with Honorable Mentions, may be awarded in each category.
Entry fees
The fee for an initial entry is $199; subsequent entries are $169. The deadline to submit your entries is April 2, 2010. We will accept entries through April 9, 2010 however there is an additional late fee of $15 per entry. You may send one payment for multiple entries. Please include credit card information on only one entry form. Payment must accompany entries and be made in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. Send the fee, entry form, and entry submission(s) either electronically via our Entry Form, or by mail to E2E Communication Awards, McMurry Campus Center, 1010 East Missouri Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85104. The charge will be listed as "McMurry - CPE" on your credit card statement.
Refunds
No refunds will be made once the entry has been sent out for judging.
Return of materials
All entries submitted to the awards program become the property of the E2E Communication Awards and may be used for promotional purposes. Entries will not be returned. Do not send irreplaceable artwork.
Deadline
Entries must be submitted electronically (or received by mail or parcel service) by April 2, 2010.
Shipping
Mailing/shipping costs and handling fees are at the entrant's expense. While we prefer to receive entries online, if you’re mailing entries send them along with entry forms and fees to E2E Communication Awards, McMurry Campus Center, 1010 East Missouri Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Send entry materials along with entry forms and fees. For international entries we suggest you send your material either by airmail or a courier service that will deliver directly to our offices. To expedite your package through customs, please affix or mark in bold lettering on the outside of the package "Contest Material. No Commercial Value."
Awards notification
Winners will be notified by mail and/or e-mail the week of May 9, 2010. Should your entry place as an award winner, your award certificate will be personalized this way: Entrant Company, Entry Title, and Category Name.
